Penny Road Pub (Barrington, IL) and Summergasm Night 4 at Ace Bar (Chicago, IL) 8/19-8/20/2011

It was a fun filled weekend.  We had a REAL intimate show at Penny Road Pub in Barrington, IL on Friday night and then REAL rowdy show at Ace Bar in Chicago on Saturday.  It was a rock and roll weekend that was capped off with a hazy bachelorette party for our good friend Katie.

This is what I got after stealing pictures of facebook from everyone who had a camera this weekend.

Congratulations to our friend Katie, and thank you to everyone who came out and made it an awesome weekend!  Also a big thanks to Machine 22, The Bright White, My My My and Mr. Russia for lending their talents to an awesome night.

With our Wedding Singer show in the books, the fifth and final night of Summergasm 2011 is just around the corner!

Beat Kitchen (Chicago, IL) - 6/26/2010

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who came out this past Saturday to share in the good times.

Performing "No Way Home" in a whole new way after working on the recording for 2 months was a blast.  We posted a video of the performance in case you weren't there OR in case you were there but were just too drunk to remember...(you know who you are).

It was also a pleasure to play with our new friend Adam Knoernschild in Chicago for the first time, and to share the stage with our old friend Tony Focht one last time.

Here's some more pics from the night.  Thank you to several of our fans for posting these to Facebook and tagging us so I could easily find and steal them :)

Finally, I want to take my hat (and pants) off to the bands that opened up the night.  Please do check out My My My (http://www.myspace.com/iluvmymymy), The Ivorys (http://www.myspace.com/theivorys) and Camera (http://www.myspace.com/camerachicago)

They all put on a great show and were a treat to watch.

To all you Chicagoans, Verona Red wishes you a hot and sweaty summer.  Here's hoping its full of blackouts and sun burns!

Can't wait to bring you some NEW MUSIC this fall!
